A local home grown business with vintage appeal.

Toys Muffler & Mechanical approached us to mark their 50th anniversary with a brand that better reflected who they are today. Over time, their identity had become inconsistent, with multiple logo updates creating a lack of cohesion across signage, uniforms, and customer touchpoints.

We refined the brand into a clear, unified identity system that respects its heritage while giving it new life. Drawing on classic workshop culture, the direction leans into robust typography, heritage colour palettes, and flexible emblems designed to work seamlessly across everything from signage and print to merchandise and digital.

A standout feature of the project is a custom hand-drawn illustration of the owner’s well-worn Dodge, a daily driver and true symbol of the business. This became a central brand asset, appearing across workwear, merchandise, and event materials, and was ultimately hand-painted onto the workshop wall to embed the identity into the physical space.

The result is a brand that feels authentic, consistent, and built to last, just like the business itself.
